Course Objectives: 

This course will enable the students to understand the process of editing for various media. Understand the newsroom culture, structure and operations. Know the usage and various features of print design and editing softwares.

Art of Editing. Meaning and Concept, Organization and Set up of a daily newspaper and news agency .Responsibilities of an editor and his editorial team.

Design – Principles for various formats of newspapers, magazines, Tabloid Newspapers and Magazine Editing, Aesthetic Dimension of Newspaper Designing.
