This course will enable the students to -

  2. Understand the media ethics and pressure on media.

Working Journalist Act 1955, Copyright Act, Press Council Act, Indecent Representation of Women Act, Cinematograph Act, and Cable Television Act; Intellectual property right Act

Ethical problems including privacy, Right to reply, Objectionable writing; Yellow Journalism, Trial by Media. Central Board of Film Certification.
