Objective: 

 

This course will enable the students to -

  1. Understand the concept of public relations and difference from other forms of marketing and publicity. 
  2. Understand the process and tools used for Public Relations.
  3. Understand the ethics and laws related to Public Relations.
  4. Develop the skills to produce house journal and organize press conference.

Practical: Public Relation

CO157: Students would know the difference between public relations and corporate communications, public relations and advertising, public relations and propaganda, public relations and publicity, propaganda and publicity.

CO158: Students would gain knowledge about the tools of public relations.

CO159: Students would learn the basics of public relations writings.

CO160: Students will prepare presentations on the role and functions of PR.

CO161: Students will produce a house journal and will organize a moot press conference.
