Objective: 

Course Objectives:

This course will enable the students to understand the basics and techniques of digital photography. IT will also enable students to capture various types of photographs by understanding lighting techniques and rules of composition. Students will also learn the basics of photo editing software.

Understanding Camera,  Focus, Shutter speed, Aperture, Lens – type of lenses and other accessories, Camera Mounts, Digital storage.

The different types of lighting-Natural lighting–and Artificial Lighting,

The reflection of light; Recommended equipment for outdoor lighting; Introduction to indoor lighting.

 Three Point Lighting, Technique and Metering for Light, Filters and Use of a Flash Unit.

Types of Photography : Fashion photography,  Product photography, Nature photography, Portrait  photography.

Photo editing software : CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop- Correcting imperfect images: Picture orientation, Cropping, Levels, Altering brightness and contrast, Red eye.
