Objective: 

 

Course Objectives: 

This course will enable the students to understand the cinema and its various genres .Understand the art of writing script and screenplay for TV programme. Understand the production process of a TV programme. Learn the basics and techniques video editing using softwares.

 

Unit I: 

Practical 1- Camera Operations

Camera Mounting, Camera Panning, Camera Tilting, Zooming

 

 

Unit II: 

Practical 2- Framing Shots

Framing & Focusing of Long shot, Mid shot & Close up; Follow shots; (following character movement in shot.)  

 

 

Unit III: 

Practical 3- Recording sounds effectively: a) a human voice, b) interview

 

 

Unit IV: 

Practical 4- Video Editing:  Video capture, Cut to cut editing, special effects, Titling, Output
