Objective: 

This course will enable the students to –

 

  • Write reviews of books, movies, theatre play, etc.
  • Translate the stories from Hindi to English and vice –versa.
  • Analyse Opinion Writing , feature, and article, editorial and conduct interview.

Practical: Writing for Print Media

CO25:Students would have  knowledge  about the basics of  news writing

CO26:Students would be able to understand different writing techniques. Students would be trained in conducting interviews for various print mediums indoor and outdoor.

 

CO27:Students will have the knowledge of writing non newsy stories. Students will be able to translate the stories from Hindi to English and vice –versa.

 

 

Approach in teaching:

Lecture cum Discussion

Analyzing different newspaper reports

Case study methodology can be applied.

Engage students in writing in news format

Analyzing different non-newsy stories in different mediums

Translate stories from Hindi and English newspapers.
