Objective: 

This course shall enable the students to -

  • Understand the evolution of Radio in India and Audio as a medium.
  • Understand various formats of Radio and basic functioning of Broadcast Industry.
  • Understand the types of studio and setup required for Radio broadcasting.

  1. Students will be able to work in the broadcast world by learning audio skills, formats and techniques
  2. Students will be acquainted with the production of radio news bulletins and programmes.
  3. Students will be able to do radio interviews, make radio promos and jingles.
  4. Students will be able to use audio editing software and produce programmes.
