Moot Press Conference

Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of The IIS( deemed to be university) organised a moot press conference on Present Trends and Practises in Public Relations Industryon 25 March 2019 12 PM in AV hall. The two hours conference was well organised by teachers and students. 

Mr. Ashish Khandelwal, Assistant Director, DIPR Jaipur, Mr. Ashutosh Rawat, Founding Partner, Creations PR,Jaipur and Ms. Roohi Sangtani, Musk PR were the honourable speakers. The conference was well moderated by Mr Anuj Sharma, chief consultant Musk PR, Jaipur.

Belonging from different industries all speakers gave the know how of working and the challenges they face in the PR industry. 

Being Assistant director at public sector Mr. Khandelwal explained how PR practises in public sector is different from that of private sector.

As Ms. Sangtani is a celebrity PR with her wit and intelligence  attracted the audiences’ attention more. Mr. Rawat told the working of a public relation officer in corporate sector which was a great information for the students who are planning to work in public relation industry. The last one hour was saved for reporters to ask questions. The questions were well answered by the speakers. The Moot press conference was proved to be a great event for the students who are planning to make their career in PR industry.

The Conference was conceived in the guidance of Dr Ruchi Goswami, Associate Professor JMC. Dr Garima Shrivastava gave vote of thanks .Dr Abhishikha Sharma, Dr Aastha Saxena, Dr Aditi Pareek and Ms Babita Sharma were also present in the programme.
