New Trends in Photojournalism

The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication has

organized a Guest Lecture on New Trends in Photojournalism

on Thursday, 11 August, 2016 at the AV(Vinatyak Hall). The

resource person for the lecture was Shri Himanshu Vyas, Sr.

Photojournalist, Hindustan Times, Jaipur.

Shri Vyas shared his experiences as a photojournalist with the

students. He demonstrated a number of photographs taken by him

and opened the session for the discussion. Students interacted

enthusiastically and interpreted photographs innovatively. Students

asked the stories behind his award winning photographs. The

session ended with a thanks note.
