A Guest Lecture on Photography organized by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication

Photographers need to have originality, communication skills, marketing skills, technologically sound, respect the data and should possess a good team frame said by Mr. Siddharth Pruthi while delivering lecture on the photography organized by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of The IIS University. Mr. Pruthi is a fashion photographer and has an industry experience of 9-10 years.

He discussed with the students about the technicalities of the field and said it has vast scope for the female photographers as well. She quoted the example of the famous female photographers like Anushka Menon, Rathika Ramasamy, Ronicka Kandhari and others.  

He said that the raw data is God for the photographers. A successful photographer should work in a team. He shared his field experiences and suggested the students about the difficulties they face while on field. There are many genres in the field of photography and for a photographer, it is not specific to be of a particular genre.
