Objective: 

This course will enable the students to –

  • Understand need of media laws for students.
  • Understand the basics of media laws and their implementation.
  • Understand the legal aspect of Media practices in India.

 

Learning Outcome:

  1. Students would know about the emerging legal regime in the media.
  2. Students would gain knowledge about the need, role, importance, functions and ethics of media profession.
  3. Students would know the objectivity of major laws which are the base of journalism practices
  4. Students would observe the regulations regarding media practices.
