Art of Documentary Making

The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication has

organized a Guest Lecture on Art of Documentary Making on

Wednesday, 24 August, 2016 at the AV(Vinatyak Hall). The

resource person for the lecture was Shri Deepak Mahan, Freelance

Documentary Film Producer and Director, Jaipur.

Shri Mahan thrown light on the process of documentary film

making. He emphasized on the role of research while developing

script of the documentary and discussed the financial aspects of

the documentary making. Mr. Mahan showcased one of his

international award winning documentary on Jaipur and opened

session for the discussions. Students of Journalism and Mass

Communication at PG and UG level asked many questions

regarding making of the documentary. The seesion came to an end

with a thanks note.
