Objective: 

The course will enable the students to identify different types of equipment used in a sound studio and their functions and differentiate between analogue and digital recording methods, including the equipment and processes involved in each.

CO18: Identify different types of equipment used in a sound studio and their functions.

CO19: Classify microphones based on their types, considering their use, directional characteristics, and structural design.

CO20: Differentiate between analogue and digital recording methods, including the equipment and processes involved in each.

CO21: Identify different types and structures of amplifiers and speakers commonly used in sound systems.

CO22: Analyse transmission systems used in audio broadcasting, including transmitters and related equipment.
