Campus Drive of Since Independence News Channel

The Department of Journalism and mass communication of IIS (deemed to be  University), Jaipur organized a campus drive of Since Independence, an English news portal on October 5th, 2021 for the students’ of the department.

All the students of Masters and Bachelors participated in the drive. Final year students gave interview for jobs and first and second year students gave interviewed for internship programme. Around 40 candidates with bachelor's and master's participated in the campus interview. 

The interview was taken by Mr. Ashwin and team members of Since Independence. Students appeared in different rounds of interview and were shortlisted for Jobs and Training. 20 candidates were shortlisted for different profiles of editing, website news, anchoring, and reporting. The shortlisted students were given offer letters.

Dr. Shipra Mathur, Advisor and Head, and other faculty members of the Department congratulated the shortlisted candidates and wish them good luck in future endeavors.
