Workshop on” Fact-checking Training to Combat Tide of Disinformation and Fake News in India”

Fake news undermines serious media coverage and makes it difficult for the journalists to cover significant news stories. To overcome the problems of the upcoming journalist, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication organized a workshop on “Fact-checking Training to Combat Tide of Disinformation and Fake News in India”. Google certified expert Prof. Umesh Arya, practically explained the students how to differentiate between fake and real pictures and videos.
