Day 1: Advertising Strategies with Ms. Sneha Jain

The workshop commenced with a warm welcome note delivered by Ms. Dipali Barahath, who introduced the theme of the workshop and highlighted its objectives. Following the welcome address, Ms. Sneha Jain, an esteemed guest speaker, was felicitated with a planter as a token of appreciation for her presence and contribution to the workshop.

Ms. Jain's session focused on the fundamentals of advertising, including topics such as the introduction to advertising, its history, objectives, and importance. She emphasized the evolving landscape of advertising, highlighting the need for creativity and adaptability in a rapidly changing market. The interactive nature of her presentation captivated the audience, who were engaged in discussions and questions throughout.

Toward the end of the session, Ms. Jain challenged the students to create an interesting tagline for any product of their choice. This exercise encouraged students to think creatively and apply the concepts they had learned during the session. The audience was impressed by her profound knowledge and dynamic presentation, which set a positive tone for the workshop.

Day 2: Public Relations Strategies with Dr. Ashish Khandelwal

On the second day, the workshop continued with a session on public relations strategies led by Dr. Ashish Khandelwal, Deputy Director of DIPR, Government of Rajasthan. With over 23 years of experience in PR and journalism, Dr. Khandelwal brought a unique perspective to the discussion. He began by sharing his professional experiences and elaborated on the functions, benefits, and distinctions between PR and advertising.

Dr. Khandelwal created a welcoming environment that encouraged active participation from the students. He addressed various questions raised by the students, while also posing his own questions to keep the discussion lively and engaging.

To further involve the participants, Dr. Khandelwal organized an interactive activity where he divided the students into groups and presented each group with a critical PR scenario to handle. The students were given 15 minutes to come up with effective solutions. This exercise proved to be the most exciting part of the session, as it allowed students to demonstrate their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Dr. Khandelwal provided constructive feedback, highlighted areas for improvement, and suggested better approaches, giving the students a real-world glimpse into the functioning of PR.

In conclusion, Dr. Khandelwal offered valuable guidance on how to pursue a career in public relations, leaving the students motivated and well-informed about the opportunities in the field.
